Day 19

After you click on insert pictures there are 3 options available to you , insert picture from your laptop that is downloaded or taken from screenshot - to screenshot from your laptop you should click Windows , shift and s - , insert from picture that Microsoft suggest or insert 3d model .when you insert the 3d model, make sure that you access the Internet. The model could move 360 degrees . This feature would make your PowerPoint  unique, advanced, and interesting . This may be the coolest feature I have ever heard , isn't it?

Day 18

Unfortunately, there is no format printer for the picture . But I do have a trick to save time and effort.  Instead of repeating the same  adjustments to a new pic ,click on the first picture and copy it . You have two alike pictures,  select one, and click right the change picture. Now you made something like format printer for the picture in a very easy way. Do you remember how to copy something from the keyboard?  Leave the answer in the comments.  See you in the next blog.

Day 17

New blog with new features. Let's continue with picture format. Inserting a lot of pictures is nice, but may your PowerPoint become heavy or hard to work with, so you need to use "compress picture." It would lower the resolution of the pic ,but the picture would look good, don't worry . If there is a text that is under the picture and you need it to be over the picture. There are two bottoms that would help you "send back" or "send forward " , those would control only the picture.  Do you remember what control the whole items in the PowerPoint? Leave the answer in commons . See you in the next blog .

Day 16

Let's continue with the pictures. After you insert pictures, the picture format board will be  open to you . Let's discuss some bottoms on that board . Any beginner knows about the picture style, It helps to change in the picture. But it is not enough to advance your PowerPoint. Sometimes, when I make a PowerPoint, I get a picture full of some details, but I don't need it all of the picture . So I use the "remove the background" bottom. This bottom helped me to get the picture in the way I wanted it . But it just has one disadvantage . After removing the background, the size of the picture does not change, just the background disappears, leaving a small pic with a huge frame,  which annoyed me with the animation. The solution to this problem leads me to talk about the second bottom . "Crop" bottom would decrease the frame of the pic in general. I can't talk about Crop without mentioning "Crop to shape." I think from the name you can guess ...

Day 15

Of course, you need in your presentation any visual images to make your PowerPoint interesting and easy to understand. Today's blog is about pictures. Sometimes, after you insert a picture , you get a look of a text box and a picture that sounds a boring slide , "Designer" would suggest to you some designs for example making the picture to the background. This will turn your presentation to another level. By the way, Designer bottom is at the home board .But sometimes you need a specific design that you need to do it yourself. This is what we will learn in the following days . See you in the next blog.

Day 14

I remember one time before starting this challenge ,I was making a PowerPoint presentation, and I wanted to add a ven diagram - it looks like two circles intercept each other - to clarify something common between two things. Because of lack of experience and knowledge,  I literally get two circles from the shapes and position them to be intercepted to each other. This process took me much time and effort, and it seemed impossible to animate them in a good way , and to be honest with you,  I wasn't really satisfied with the result. But now I know that in the next time when I need to make a ven diagram or any other diagram , I should go to the SmartArt . SmartArt is a PowerPoint feature that adds to your presentation any diagram that you need, for example, the ven diagram and  a pyramid diagram , and make you able to type in the diagram . This feature is live changing for me , it saves time and effort and gives me the result exactly like I wanted.  That's for tod...

Day13

Let's continue yesterday's talk. After you arrange the text boxes. now there are shapes you want to arrange, may be you find some struggles  like there's shape over a text box, but you want it to be under it or you want to select text box under a shape without moving the shape.  The select button is the saver in this situation. Clicking select opens a selection planethat is written in it sometimes like [ text box 4 ] then [rectangle 2] , the number of text boxes and shapes that appear in the plane are equal to the number of text boxes and shapes in the slide. But the item is numbered according to the whole PowerPoint ,for example, rectangle 2 is the second rectangle in the PowerPoint, even if it is the only rectangle in the slide. You can select the item easily, there an open-eye icon if you clicked the item will disappear ,there is a lock icon if you click it the item couldn't move unless you click on the lock icon again.  You could change the arrangement of the li...

Day 12

We stopped yesterday with shapes, and we are starting with it today. If you choose a specific shape, let's say a circle . Of course, you can change it colour,  outline, or size you can write in it, by "edit text" it would turn into a text box. Image you have some text boxes and some shapes in one slide, and you need to arrange it. The text boxes, if you need to move 2 text boxes or more at the same time, then you need to use "Arrange", first click on the text box number 1 then control then click text box number 2 then click arrange and choose the suitable option. That's for today. Tomorrow, we will continue with the arrangement of shapes.

Day 11

Let's continue with the text box. After talking about the alignment , let me give you one more simple information,  you can make your text written in more than just one column . You might feel like this is stupid, but sometimes it helps. If you look at "shapes," the first one is a rectangle inside it capital A, and some line this  is text box this would help you to add any number of text box you need, make it easier to clear your points and even in the animation . If you choose any other shape like a circle ,rectangle, square, or ect, it would advance your presentation. That is for today. See you in the next blog .

Day 10

Let's talk about the text box. Let's say that you are working on the title and content slide. At the content part - or the title whatever you choose - you could increase/decrease its area, type your content, but what else? Add some bullets? Actually, you have more options to make with your text. of course you know how to make the text (left/right) align or center align , you could also use justify option , this option  makes your text starts with the left like the lift align and ends like the right align your content would look like you write it in a rectangle look . In tomorrow's blog, I am going to complete talking about the text box, but that's for today.

Day 9

Today's blog is about some tricks for your text Any topic you present could contain some main points, so to clarify those points, you will need the bullets . First, what are the bullets? You know, when arranging some points with numbers like [1) 2) 3)] or with dots,or  arrows, that the bullets . Most of us used , if you want to clarify some points in the main points, how you would use bullets? Clicking enter will make a new line. The new trick that I learned,  in this situation, you should click tap, after click tap the bullet will move to be under the text of its  main point after clarifying any numbers of points,  click shift tap to return the bullet to be under the bullets of the main point  I hope you learned something new. See you next blog.

Day 8

Any beginner knows that the text that he wrote could increase or decrease its size and change its colour or the handwriting but he might be tired of repeating the same format for every text , did you face this struggle before? Yes! So let me introduce to you the format printer . Format printer: it is a feature that repeats your format by just clicking. It seems like magic, right? After you make a format for one text or even one word, you should highlight that text and then click on format printer , its icon is a yellow painting brush,  then any word you will click on it  will turn into the main format that you made . You will save much time and energy by using the format printer.  I hope you learn something new today . See you tomorrow in the next blog .

Day 7

Past a week from the challenge,  I feel it was a long time,  I totally know this feeling will get less in the following day.  Now let's talk about our PowerPoint course, today's lesson was some tricks or notes in the keyboard , let's say that you need to do some edits to a picture or text box like copy or paste,  combining some keys will make the process faster and easier.   To copy control + c , cut ( it is similar to delete) control +x and paste control + v . You could undo a step - if you made a mistake - by clicking control +z, but if you were hasty and undo a step to didn't need to undo it .Don't worry, you can redo by clicking control +y You might notice that it is very little, I learn and write very small lessons to make it easy to be disciplined to the challenge.

Day 6

It's day 6 from the challenge. Every time when we make a PowerPoint,  we choose one of the program's designs as a background for our project. Today, I learned that you can create your own design and that by using the slide master.  When you open the slide master, the PowerPoint would change into blank slides, and you edit it into the design or the theme that you need.  The first slide is like the base of your PowerPoint. Any edit you make in it will apply on the rest of your PowerPoint.  Any other slides would be very specific for one type of the slides that we have talked about before . For example, if you edit in the "text and content", it will only apply to the "text and content " slide in your presentation.  After you finish your design and close the slide master,  you will get a perfect and creative design.  That doesn't mean PowerPoint's designs are useless. Absolutely, they are helpful for beginners or to get inspired by them.  I...

Day 5

Today is day five of learning the PowerPoint. Today's lesson was talking about the slides specifically. There are many shapes of the slides, and everyone has a special use .  You should start your presentation with the title slide, and then you have many options to go with, like (text and content) or comparison. I also learned how to turn a picture into a background, when I need to make sections .

Day 4 from the 45 days

It's the fourth day of learning the PowerPoint.  Today, I learned more features that could help any presenter, like the presenter view.  The presenter view is like a special screen for the presenter that shows the slide that is presenting,  the next slide and his notes . Just click "show presentation," then shift f5 .

Day 3

Today is day 3 in the challenge,  I was busy today, but I do learn something in the PowerPoint.   I learned the program interface, and it might seem little , but it was helpful.  But the good part is that I didn't miss the challenge today. See you in the next blog.

Day 2

It's the second day in a row , I learned that the PowerPoint is a Microsoft app like the Excel sheet. It isn't made for a specific group of people. Everyone needs it to make a presentation like a student,  teacher, or employer .

Day 1

Today is day 1 of 45 days of creativity challenge,  we suppose in this challenge to learn something new every day for the following  45 day ,I decided to learn the PowerPoint,  I start with the basics but when I finish the challenge,    I will be very advanced,  I choose this skill to help me in my college or even in my career , I hope to succeed in this challenge,  goodbye.
